Hillary is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2008 with a Masters of Science in Nursing where she received the Luther Christman Award for clinical excellence in July 2007. She began her Nurse Practitioner career in Endocrinology and has specialized in treatment of acute, chronic, and post-operative pain, as well as, spine, nerve, and joint care since the Summer of 2009 . Hillary has a passion for thorough evaluation that leads to finding out what causes patients’ pain, educating patients, and then providing a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment.
Hillary obtained her undergraduate education and Bachelors degree in 1999 from Hollins College with a major in Biology and minors in Women’s Studies and History. Prior to professional school Hillary spent years working in the medical field and non-profit management. In her free time, Hillary enjoys spending time with her family, enjoying the beautiful trails and parks of Middle Tennessee, learning new things, and watching football!
